Alongside his clinical practice, Professor Crean holds several senior academic and leadership roles, including Pro Vice-Chancellor for Clinical and Research at the University of Central Lancashire, Honorary Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon within the NHS, and Editor-in-Chief of the Faculty Dental Journal at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
