Veneers & Composite Bonding

A smile designed around you

Your smile is unique, and cosmetic dentistry should be too

At The Peaks Dental & Implant Centre, we believe the best smile makeovers are not about creating a generic “perfect” smile – they’re about creating a result that complements your face, your personality and the way you want to look and feel.

Whether you’re looking to make a subtle improvement or completely transform your smile, our experienced cosmetic dental team can help you explore the options available, from minimally invasive composite bonding to beautifully crafted porcelain veneers and comprehensive smile makeovers.

What would you like to change about your smile?

You may be unhappy with the shape, colour, size or position of your teeth, or perhaps your smile has changed over time. Cosmetic dentistry can address a wide range of concerns.

  • Chipped, worn or damaged teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Uneven or irregular tooth shapes
  • Small or disproportionate teeth
  • Discolouration or staining
  • Mildly crooked or overlapping teeth
  • Worn or ageing smiles
  • Old or unsatisfactory dental work
  • Several concerns addressed together

During your consultation, we’ll listen carefully to what you’d like to achieve and assess your teeth, gums and overall oral health before recommending any treatment.

Before and after: gum correction and porcelain veneers at The Peaks Dental

Beautifully crafted, individually designed

Porcelain veneers are thin, individually crafted ceramic restorations that are bonded to the front surfaces of suitable teeth to improve their appearance.

Our veneers are designed specifically for you, taking into consideration the shape of your face, your natural smile, your tooth proportions and the result you’re hoping to achieve. They can improve tooth shape, colour and symmetry, creating a beautifully balanced, natural-looking smile.

We believe veneers should look like exceptionally good teeth – not artificial teeth. That’s why careful planning, shade selection, tooth preparation and laboratory craftsmanship are all so important. Where appropriate, we take a minimally invasive approach and preserve as much healthy natural tooth structure as possible.

A conservative way to enhance your smile

If you’re looking for a more conservative or affordable way to enhance your smile, composite bonding can be an excellent option.

Composite is a tooth-coloured material that can be carefully shaped and sculpted directly onto the tooth. It can improve the appearance of chipped, worn or uneven teeth, close small gaps and make subtle changes to tooth shape.

One of the major advantages of composite bonding is that it can often be completed with little or no removal of natural tooth structure, depending on the individual case – an attractive option for patients who want to keep treatment as minimally invasive as possible.

Which is right for me?

Both treatments can produce beautiful results, but they work in different ways.

  • Composite bonding

Generally more conservative and can often be completed relatively quickly. Particularly suitable for smaller cosmetic changes, and can usually be repaired or modified relatively easily.

  • Porcelain veneers

Exceptional aesthetics, durability and colour stability. May be more appropriate where a more comprehensive or long-term cosmetic transformation is desired.

The right choice depends on your teeth, your oral health, your expectations and the result you want to achieve. We’ll explain the advantages and limitations of each option so that you can make an informed decision.

Complete smile makeovers

Sometimes the best result isn’t achieved by treating one tooth in isolation. A smile makeover combines two or more cosmetic or restorative treatments to create a harmonious overall result.

Depending on your individual needs, your smile makeover could incorporate:

Because we provide a wide range of treatments under one roof, we can carefully coordinate your care and consider your smile as a whole.

For example, if your teeth are crowded, clear aligners may be recommended before cosmetic treatment. If teeth are worn or damaged, restorative treatment may need to be considered. If there are missing teeth, implants may form part of your overall smile rehabilitation.

The aim is not simply to make your teeth look better – it is to create a healthy, balanced and long-lasting result.

Your smile, your choice

We understand that cosmetic dental treatment is a personal decision. You may want a very subtle improvement or a more noticeable transformation. Either is completely valid.

Our role is to listen to you, understand what you’re hoping to achieve and provide honest advice about what is realistically achievable. We will never recommend treatment simply because it is possible. Your teeth and gums must be healthy, and we’ll always consider the long-term health and function of your smile alongside its appearance.

Cosmetic dentistry that looks like you

We believe exceptional cosmetic dentistry should look natural, individual and proportionate.

Our experienced clinical team combines meticulous planning, modern technology and high-quality materials to create results that complement your natural features. Whether you’re considering a small improvement with composite bonding, beautifully crafted porcelain veneers or a complete smile makeover, we’ll guide you through every stage of your journey.
